Why we built Wealthiora
We got tired of financial content that was either too basic — "save more, spend less!" — or hidden behind a $497 course and a 40-minute webinar funnel.
Wealthiora started as a Google Doc shared between three friends in 2023. One was paying off student loans on a teacher's salary. One was figuring out how to invest their first freelance income. One was negotiating their way out of an underpaid tech job. We compared notes, sourced everything, and wrote down what actually worked.
That doc became a habit. The habit became a newsletter. The newsletter became this site. The goal hasn't changed: clear, honest, research-backed money writing — free, forever, with no sponsors picking the topics.
We don't accept affiliate deals from financial product companies. We don't have a course to sell. We don't put anything behind a paywall. Reader trust is the only product, and we'd like to keep it.

"Personal finance shouldn't require a finance degree, a paid subscription, or trusting an influencer with a tropical backdrop."
What we stand for
Clarity over complexity
If we can't explain it without jargon, we don't publish it. Every term gets defined the first time it appears.
Independence over sponsorships
No affiliate links from financial products. No paid placements. Our incentives are aligned with readers, full stop.
Action over theory
Every article ends with something you can actually do this week — not just a concept to think about.
